By now, you’ve probably seen Kendall Jenner’s Los Angeles home tour in Architectural Digest, which was released this summer. While many people expected the supermodel to have a flashy, opulent home, her renovated space was actually quite subdued and serene. In fact, Jenner said her big goals for her home were to feel peaceful and calm in the space—in stark contrast to the busyness and hustle of the rest of her life.
Frankly, we were swooning over her Spanish bungalow home, with its farmhouse and eclectic antique vibes. Designed by Kathleen and Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez, Jenner’s home underwent a year of renovations. Jenner wanted to celebrate the existing character of the home while bringing in elements that suited her lifestyle—like transforming two of the five bedrooms into a “glam room” and fitting room.
She added other doses of personality throughout her home, too—specifically through her use of antiques and pop art, which create some really fun contrast. Bright pop art, along with a James Turrell ovoid wall sculpture, which features shifting, computer-programmed LED lights, contrast with the vintage pieces and more formal style of her living room. And in her bedroom, a neon Tracey Emin sculpture sits opposite a pair of 18th-century Italian painted door panels that her mother, Kris Jenner, gave her. It’s an interesting mix of pieces that we wouldn’t have thought to combine (even her designers were skeptical) but it really works in her space!

Get The Look: Kendall’s Living Room
Kendall Jenner’s living room shows off an interesting contrast of eclecticism and symmetry—resulting in a space of casual formality. Matching sofas sitting opposite each other establish this more formal vibe—but a mix of vintage patterned pillows, eclectic art and decor, and mismatched side tables and stools give the space a more casual air.
How to Get the Look:
Think in layers. To get this look, work from the ground up. This look is all about layered textures, and rugs are a great place to start. Go for a large flatweave rug, and layer a plush, shag rug over it for some extra coziness underfoot. Mix this with plush slipcovered sofas, then add in stools, poufs, and pillows for that eclectic touch.
Balance symmetry with eclecticism. To really pull off this look, invest in a pair of matching sofas, then bring in some eclectic elements. Jenner has a lot of antiques and vintage textiles in her home, from furniture to her throw pillows, which bring in that eclectic air. But you can get that eclectic edge without scouring flea markets and antique shops, if that’s not your vibe. Simply look for a mix of textures and patterns in pillows and accent furniture, and bring in some personality through your artwork!
Add depth with earth tones and natural materials. While, overall, Kendall Jenner’s design style is pretty neutral, bring in pops of earth tones and rustic wood tones for added depth. Rich and bold patterns—in pillows, the rugs, and even artwork—will bring even more life to this look.
Get The Look: Kendall’s Office
Kendall Jenner’s office features a very interesting mix of classic shapes and antique elements, with pops of color, a splash of glam, and organic forms. The result, once again, is a beautifully eclectic space that we sure wouldn’t mind working in!
How to Get the Look:
Mix organic forms with classic pieces. While the desk in this office is very classic in form and style, the flanking cabinets and the accent chair are quite organic in shape. Mixing these two styles iresults in a very approachable kind of eclecticism.
Go high-contrast. This office features a high-contrast black and white palette, with dark furniture against white walls. A bold vintage rugs with saturated earthy colors helps to bring warmth to this high-contrast space.
Add in some glam touches. Touches of glam will really elevate the space. You can bring in these moments of glam through pop art (which is a big part of Kendall Jenner’s look) and in your use of textures and materials like velvet and marble.
Get The Look: Kendall’s Dining Room
We’re in love with the rustic, antique vibes of Kendal Jenner’s dining room. The table and chairs set-up feels like you’re dining in an old Italian villa—but the gallery wall perfectly modernizes the look while adding a delightful eclectic touch to the space.
How to Get the Look:
Go for an “old world chic” look. The foundation of this look is one of rustic warmth. Opt for a dining room table and chairs in rustic, natural wood to set the tone. But, to keep this look from skewing too classical, we opted for dining chairs made in a rustic material but with a more trendy and modern form.
Embrace a variety of textures and wood finishes. Mixing natural wood pieces in various tones adds a lot of depth to this look. The dining room table and chairs are both darker woods, but are actually slightly different finishes. Meanwhile, the console table and extra chairs at the back of the room are in a lighter finish, which adds nice contrast to the space. The console table also features a few decorative accessories that have an earthy vibe and are rich in texture, which adds more nuance and depth to the space.
Hang a gallery wall. To balance out the more rustic and formal elements in this dining room, hang an eclectic gallery wall. Use a mix of photography and paintings for a mixed media look—and even consider mixing old and new pieces. This will bring a good dose of personality and modernity to the space.
Get The Look: Kendall’s Bedroom
Kendall Jenner’s bedroom is all about peace and simplicity. She wanted this space to be a true retreat from the hectic hustle of life. This space really embraces minimalism, but layered textiles and wood tones makes it feel warm and inviting.
How to Get the Look:
Keep it minimal. This bedroom is all about simplicity, so we went very minimal in the decor. There’s no artwork on the walls, and the nightstands really only have the lamps and some fresh flowers. (Though the form of the lamps adds a fun element!) White bedding—along with a white accent chair and storage bench—create a peaceful, zen vibe. A low, upholstered bed adds a soft and grounding touch to the space.
Go for a symmetrical layout. While much of Kendal Jenner’s home has an approachable eclectic style, opting for a more traditional, symmetrical layout in the bedroom adds to the zen feel of this space.
Add depth through earthy colors and natural materials. Since so much of this room is simple and light, the rich wood nightstand really pops, without overpowering the room. A washed-out vintage-inspired rug also adds some subtle color in earthy tones, as does the throw at the end of the bed.
